Young Scientist Showcase at Kids Enrichment Expo Oct 2026

Inspiring young innovators to explore, discover and present their scientific ideas.

Designed for curious young minds, Young Scientist Showcase gives students the opportunity to present their own science projects, experiments or innovations in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This is not about building the most complicated project.

It is about curiosity, creativity, problem-solving and sharing ideas with confidence.

🌟 How It Works

Each participant will be allocated up to 5 minutes to present his science project.

Projects may include:

• Scientific experiments

• Engineering prototypes

• STEM innovations

• Environmental solutions

• Robotics projects

• Coding or technology inventions

• Sustainability ideas

• Scientific models

• Research-based investigations

• Other science-related creations

Participants should be prepared to briefly explain:

• their idea or hypothesis

• how the project works

• what they discovered

• what they learned throughout the process

This showcase is designed to:

• encourage curiosity and innovation

• develop presentation and communication skills

• build confidence in explaining ideas

• inspire future scientists and inventors

Every participant presents in a positive, supportive and educational environment.

👨‍👩‍👧 Important Parent & Presentation Guidelines

🔬 Presentation Format

• Each presentation has a maximum of 5 minutes.

• Projects must be original or created primarily by the participant.

• Any props or equipment required must be prepared and brought by participants.

🚫 Project Restrictions

For safety reasons, projects must NOT include:

• Open flames

• Hazardous chemicals

• Dangerous electrical equipment

• Explosives

• Live animals

• Any materials that may pose a safety risk

The organizers reserve the right to refuse unsuitable exhibits.

🚫 No Parent Assistance During Presentation

• Parents and teachers are not permitted to present on behalf of participants.

• Students should explain their own projects independently.

👧 Child Supervision

Participants will be:

• checked in by staff

• guided to the presentation area

• supervised throughout the showcase

Parents are welcome to watch from the audience area.

Young Scientist Showcase is designed for children who:

• enjoy science and discovery

This showcase is not about perfection.

Young Scientist Showcase is proudly part of Kids Enrichment Expo 2026, a weekend dedicated to early learning, creativity and confidence-building experiences.

👉 Expo entry is free.

👉 Participation in Young Scientist Showcase requires a separate ticket.

Families are welcome to enjoy the expo before or after the presentation.

Open to primary school students in Year 3-6

Presentation slots are limited to ensure every participant has sufficient presentation time.

Please register each child separately.
