    Holiday Sci-Fi Fantasy writing workshop for young writers ages 11-16

    Cost: $60 for 2 Wednesdays

    Join teacher Selina Strazzari in two 3-hour sessions devoted to character creation and world-building. Learn how to create multi-dimensional, complex characters and build layered immersive worlds that can be used in any genre.

    Dates: Session 1:

    Wednesday 28th June

    World-building in a sci-fi/fantasy context

    Session 2:

    Wednesday 5th July

    Creating diverse and engaging characters to fit those worlds.

    Times: 10am-1pm

    Place: Noosa Library

    About Selina

    Selina is a teacher on the Sunshine Coast, and a graduate of USC's Creative Writing program, with both a Bachelor and Honours in Creative Writing. Her favoured genres are science fiction, speculative fiction, and fantasy, and she is passionate about building imaginative and unique worlds and bringing them to life. As an English teacher, she is passionate about fostering creativity in aspiring writers.
