Owned and operated by the Mullany family since 1965. Enjoy the fresh air, country hospitality, fresh fruit (in season), delicious hand made Ballinaclash products - jams, sauces, verjuice, cherry pies, cherry ice-creams, cherry cordial, cherries in liqueur, prunes, local products and gifts available at the Ballinaclash Farm Gate Shop. Sample award winning Ballinaclash wines at the Cellar Door as well as the very popular cherry and sugar plum wines.
Lambing Flat Chinese Tribute Gardens - Enjoy a relaxing wander through the gardens and enjoy the 'Pool of Tranquility'. The gardens located at Chinaman's Dam look spectacular all year round. The development of the gardens began in 1992 and was established to recognise the contribution of the Chinese community to the settlement of Young in the 1860s, and to the ongoing contributions of the Chinese community to Australia as a Nation. Informative heritage signs provide information on the establishment of the gardens and the dam.
A truly rewarding experience!
Did you know:
Why is it called Cherrypicking? The term is based on the perceived process of harvesting fruit, such as cherries. The picker would be expected to select only the ripest and healthiest fruits. An observer who sees only the selected fruit may thus wrongly conclude that most, or even all, of the tree's fruit is in a likewise good condition.
