Your AI Strategy in Five Moves
Description
Every business has something it is trying to do more of, do better, or do at all. That is where an AI strategy starts. The tool question usually arrives first, and it is the one that can wait. Most businesses already have AI in use somewhere, and that is a good place to start from.
An AI strategy is a set of decisions about where AI belongs in what you are already trying to achieve, and they are far easier to get right in the right order. This workshop walks you through them, three hours, working on your own business the whole way. You leave knowing what to focus on first and how to set things up so the first thing you try holds.
You bring your own business. Not a case study, not a hypothetical. By the end you will have made all five calls on your own organisation, and you will have the competence to make them again next quarter, and the quarter after.
The five decisions you will work through:
What you are trying to achieve, where AI belongs, and where you keep it out
What to start with
What counts as it working
Who runs it, and who stands behind the result
What rules you run by, and what happens when this works
What you take home:
Your own first draft of all five decisions, in your own words, about your own business
The competence to run the five again with your team
Who it is for:
Owners and managers of small and medium businesses who want an AI strategy, whether they are starting from scratch or already have AI in use
The people who decide where the business puts its time and money
No technical background needed. You just need your own business to work on.
How it works:
In person, three hours, everyone working on their own organisation. Capacity 20.
Tool agnostic, not tool free. Bring a laptop and an AI tool you can log into. Whichever one you already use is the right one.
Your facilitator:
Nina O'Donohue is co-founder of Cogrounding and works with businesses on making AI a competence in the organisation. She spent close to nine years at the LEGO Group with global marketing responsibility and has built two businesses of her own. She starts with what needs to be achieved and for whom. The technology follows.
