    Your Creative Brain

    IN-PERSON MIXED MEDIA ART WORKSHOP
    Thursday 25th January 2024
    Artworks Community Studio, Hackham
    10:30am to 2:30pm (ACDT)

    This event is for women and girls (from age 10) who are interested in expanding their creative potential. It will be stimulating for experienced artists and beginners.
    Participants will enjoy a fun-filled day experimenting with a variety of mixed media. In addition, they will gain insights into the origin of creative ideas, how we can increase the conscious capacity of our brain, and the role of meditation in the creative process.

    COST - $65 per person (plus booking fee) / includes art materials

    About Heather 
    Dip Art Ed, FRSASA, Certified Transcendental Meditation teacher

    Heather Lorenzon trained as an Art Teacher at the National Art School in Sydney from 1969 to 1972 where she majored in painting and drawing. She uses a variety of media, particularly water-based materials such as acrylic, ink, pen and wash in a style she calls ‘Interpretive realism’
    “ As an Art teacher, I am particularly interested in helping people discover and develop their creative potential." Her ‘Your Creative Brain, Art and Consciousness’ workshops are very popular.
    As well as the physical tools of the artist, Heather uses mental tools such as her daily practice of the Transcendental Meditation® technique to “help keep my mind clear and creative ideas flowing”.

    Participants will need to bring their own lunch. Tea and Coffee will be provided. The facility has wheelchair access.
