Graze and Raise is all about people getting together, creating fun memories, sharing food and drinks AND raising some serious money for the HAS Foundation.

How to Graze and Raise

Your Graze and Raise event can be as relaxed or as spectacular as you like.

You can Graze and Raise at home, at work, at a restaurant, or even at the park.

You choose the type of event you want to hold, decide how you’d like to raise funds, invite your friends, family or colleagues along and raise funds for children in Palliative Care.

There will also be a HAS Foundation online auction running during the week.

Registration is $15 per event to host your own Graze and Raise and we will send you a Host Kit to help you plan your event.

Grazing ideas

Host a lunch, dinner or nibbles and drinks at home
Head to your favourite café or restaurant
Host a lunch at the office or Boardroom
Invite clients in for Friday drinks
Have a sausage sizzle and casual day at work
Host a picnic and bubbles at the park

Raising ideas

Set a ‘ticket’ price for your event
Ask guests to make a donation
Hold a raffle
Create an auction with items from local businesses
Take up a collection at your workplace
Bid in the HAS online auction

Whatever you do, have fun and create memories together!

How your donations will help

Funds raised through this year’s Graze and Raise events will go towards memory-making moments at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation ‘Laklinyeri’ Beach House.

This means families of children in Paediatric Care can have a break together, take beautiful family photos, try new activities, and build connections and memories that last a lifetime.

It’s amazing to think that when you host a Graze and Raise event, you’re creating memories with your friends and family, PLUS you’re helping other families create their own memories during the toughest time of their lives.
