At Modern Minds we are dedicated to supporting your mind, body and soul. This event puts our ethos into practice, connecting beloved collaborators of Modern Minds with our clients and friends.

Each of us has a medley of “faces” that composes our individual personality: intelligence, anger, love, jealousy, helplessness, courage, and many more. We’re often quick to judge these characteristics as either positive or negative, without recognising that we need each of them to become fuller, more balanced human beings.

In this workshop you will learn how to acknowledge, understand, and manage your many faces – and in doing so, open a world of possibilities for yourself. Come along to join our community and meet new people - we're excited to welcome you!

This event is hosted by Kobie Allison, a Psychodynamically trained Psychologist and founder of both Kobie Allison Psychology and Modern Minds, a modern mental health clinic located in Windsor, Brisbane. Kobie brings together a unique approach drawing from her Masters training in both Counselling and Clinical Psychology, plus her method actor training she obtained in LA and Australia. Kobie currently works via Telehealth with clients worldwide and In Person in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

The goal of Kobie’s speaking events is to create a safe place for people to share the reality of who they are and what they want in life. To do that Kobie draws on her training to work with the room in an individualised, collaborative way so that the audience can take an active part in the workshop if they so wish.

Modern Minds events are for all people irrespective of gender, life stage and status who are motivated to learn, grow, and support others to thrive and welcome all their many faces! We acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people as the traditional owners of the land on which we will meet and connect. We extend our respect to their elders, past, present and emerging.
