Natalie Dean-Weymark
Natalie is the Co-Founder and Director of Compass Studio: an independent PR & Comms agency for world-bettering brands. Before founding Compass Studio, Natalie spent a decade in publishing and partnerships. Her knowledge of marketing and Australian media landscape positions her to lead business strategy that focuses on amplifying the impact of its portfolio companies. She and her business partner Luke are not shy in their ambition to lead an agency that believes in the power of the collective. Compass Studio now represents some of Australia’s most reputable brands in the impact-led space and Natalie speaks regularly as an authority on the topic of purpose in the brand space.
Angie Farrugia
Angie Farrugia is B Lab Australia & Aotearoa New Zealand’s Director of Communications & Engagement. With more than 20 years of communications and marketing experience across Australia and the UK, Angie has led strategic brand development, storytelling, communications and campaigns for a wide variety of organisations and teams, from large enterprises and household brands to non-profits, start-ups, and social enterprises. Angie joined B Lab AANZ in 2022 to lead the communications and community engagement strategy for the region, growing awareness and supporting the B Corp movement's global vision for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
Cheryl Goodman
Cheryl Goodman leads the Regulatory Affairs portfolio at H&H Group, a B Corp-certified health and wellness company, home to consumer brands Swisse, Biostime, and Zesty Paws.
She is a sustainability-focused leader with deep expertise in regulatory affairs and product development across complementary medicines, natural health supplements, dietary supplements, foods, infant formula, and cosmetics in Australia and internationally.
Throughout her career, Cheryl has led various community and social impact initiatives, from championing Reconciliation Action Plans to implementing wellness programs. As a naturopath, Cheryl is particularly passionate about the intersection of environmental sustainability and health science.
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management, a Bachelor of Health Science, and a Diploma in Mindfulness.
James Bartle
As the founder and CEO of Outland Denim, and the wider Maeka Group of brands, James leads a socially conscious fashion company that has been at the forefront of the movement towards ethically and environmentally sustainable manufacturing. James' passion for using business as a catalyst for change has seen Outland Denim win the Thomson Reuters Foundation Stop Slavery Award. Outland Denim is Australia's first B Corporation certified denim brand and has won B Corp's "Best for the World" award for community for three consecutive years. In 2023, the Maeka Group acquired Nobody Denim, a heritage Australian premium denim brand, to expand its global footprint and influence. The Maeka Group also manufactures for leading Australian and New Zealand fashion brands.
Ellen Myers
Ellen Myers is the Membership Experience Manager at The Commons. She fosters connections and enhances member experiences, creating spaces where people connect and grow. She leads Founders in Common, an initiative bringing together 800 founders across The Commons, Forum, and Central House in Melbourne and Sydney.
