Free two day self-advocacy course for people with disabilities.
The course covers:
- Understanding your rights
- Learning key steps to becoming a successful self-advocate
- Exploring ways to communicate assertively
- Sharing and learning from real experiences
Lunch and afternoon tea included. Spaces are limited due to smaller class size.
This is a two day course. Day 1 on Friday, 26 November & Day 2 on Monday, 29 November both from 11am to 4pm.
The course will be held at the Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre located at 30 Dodd St Wembley. Ample parking and disability friendly venue.
