Your Roads Forum
Event description
We’re hosting a community forum to talk about local roads and how decisions are made. This is your chance to learn more about which roads are managed by council, how projects are planned, and where your feedback fits in.
This session is about sharing information and hearing from you. We’ll also have an open conversation about areas that need review and discuss new ideas like forming a group or committee to keep the conversation going.
The session will be hosted by Marcus Goonan, the Rural City of Wangaratta's Director of Community & Infrastructure.
What we’ll cover
What counts as a council road and what doesn’t.
How the pipeline of works is set up and why some projects take longer.
Our new approach to planning and responding to community input.
Feedback we’ve received and what happens next.
An open discussion about forming a group or committee to keep the conversation going.
Why it matters
Roads affect everyone. Your ideas help us make better decisions about where to focus and how to improve. This forum is a chance to ask questions, share your thoughts, and understand how priorities are set.
This is a free ticketed event.
