This will be a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive training session. Content warnings and frequent breaks will be used throughout the day. There will be interactive discussions and activities between training participants and the specialists facilitating the training. However, you do not have to contribute unless you feel comfortable to do so.

Will there be food and drink?

We will provide morning tea, a light lunch and tea and coffee.

Is the venue accessible?

The building is wheelchair accessible throughout with disabled parking in front of the building.

When should I register by?

Please RSVP by 10am 11 August.Please let us know by 10am 11 August if you can no longer attend.

You can park along the reserve in Wye Street or at the playground in Avon Street Reserve. Please don't park in the daycare carpark behind the venue unless you require wheelchair access. Wests Mayfield is also a block away and has a large parking structure.

We advocate for gender equality and a fair legal system.

We've been travelling around NSW giving women free legal advice for over 40 years.

This session is for

Community workers who support women, including social workers, health workers, GPs and those working with First Nations women and migrant women.

You will learn from

Legal specialists in domestic, family and sexual violence, workplace discrimination and safety planning.

You will learn about

Tech-facilitated abuse such as AI and image-based abuse
Domestic violence and ADVOs
Tech and financial safety planning
Sexual harassment at work
Workplace rights
