Have Your Say About The Future Of Schooling

BOP Industries is excited to invite you to take part in a youth advisory workshop supported by Omni Academies For Learning. Omni is an educational facility that values genuine learning, relationships and real world connection. At Omni, student learning will be through project and problem based experiences, with assessment focussing on progressive portfolios of work. Omni aims to be a place where aspirations are realised, student voice is respected and learning is an exploration.

As Omni value student voice, REAL Schools (the governing body) would like to hear from young people about their experience at school, what they appreciate about their schooling journey and what they think is missing. This will help them ensure their policies and procedures, framework and culture is in line with what young people are wanting out of their learning experience.

Who Is This Program For?
This program is open to 15 year 9-10 students from all across South East Queensland, who want to have their say about what the future of schooling should look like.

When Does The Program Run?
The program runs on the 12th April from 10am to 1pm at WeWork 310 Edward Street, Brisbane City 4000 

        What Do I Need To Bring?
        All sessions and activities will be hands-on with equipment provided by BOP Industries. If students have a device they'd like to bring they are welcome to do so. 

        Do Students Need Any Prior Experience?
        Students don't need any prior experience for this program. We just ask that you are excited and willing to participate.

        Refund policy

        In the event that you are unable to attend your BOP Industries program or event, a credit will be available to be used for any future BOP Industries program or event tickets (within the next 24 month period). This credit/postponement of attendance must be made no later than 7 days prior to the event or program. If a program is cancelled, our first priority is to postpone the program or transition to an online offering. If neither of these options are available, a cancellation may be required, in which case an application for refund is available. All refunds must be approved by BOP Industries prior to being confirmed and will be based on a case-by-case basis. All refunds will not include the booking fee paid upon purchase.
