Event description

Culture Camp  April 22-26th 2024

The Returning invites you back to Country for four nights and five days to return, learn, listen and heal.

Hidden at the base of Mount Wollumbi we spend 5 days out on country, connecting, resetting our nervous systems and building deep relationship with self, community and our more than human kin.

This is a chance for our Indigenous and non-Indigenous brothers and sisters to sit around the fire, to listen, learn and to find their unified story.

A real life experience at intergenerational community living with country. Surrounded by a beautiful river and acres to explore. This is a safe and trauma informed space to regain time with your self and Country.

This program is in collaboration with East Coast cultural workers, facilitators and leaders, we come together to share our stories, teachings and being for the healing of our Country and each other from a First Nations Perspective .

Right now, the world needs healing. We can create healing through this offering by learning from each other's ways through diverse workshops focussing on Sustainable and slow arts, movement, reflection, decolonisation and exploration of self.

The focus of all workshops is grounded upon healing, health, remembering, returning and actioning.

Your investment contributes to providing scholarship positions for aspiring young Indigenous leaders and mentors in our local community to bridge privilege gaps that exist and provide for those who are in need.

The fire has been lit, now time to show up for yourself to finder deeper connect and respect for self, community and the land.
