Youth Climate Action Summit November 2026

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, the idiom “to turn over a new leaf” means to start behaving in a better way. This year’s YCAS conference aims to empower all attendees to learn about new innovations and everyday behaviours which are more ecologically responsible, as well as to dream about the change they might be able to make. Look forward to experienced and inspiring keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, and a chance to connect under the shared goal of turning over a new leaf for a better world.

This is our third annual event bringing together students from grades 7 to 12.

Student teams need at least one adult participating and responsible for the team throughout the day.

Dress code: Comfortable clothing - uniform not required. As many of the workshops will take place out of doors, please dress accordingly, including appropriate footwear for walking, learning, and taking action in nature.

Arrival and Location: The Youth Climate Action Summit will take place at Upper Canada College, located at 200 Lonsdale Road in midtown Toronto. The closest major intersection is Avenue Road and St. Clair Avenue West. The campus is accessible by public transit via Davisville TTC subway station and the #13 bus. Visitor parking is available in the William P. Wilder ’40 Arena & Sports Complex lot.

Registration will take place under the Clocktower in the Bernick Family Foyer.
