How and why to create a youth climate committee

Formed in 2024, Casey’s Youth Climate Action Committee provides opportunities for young people aged 15-25 to work on meaningful projects to address climate change, engage with their local community, educate themselves and advocate to their local leaders.

In this webinar we will hear about how and why Casey created this initiative - and why and how your council could do the same thing! We'll hear from all sides of this story, including some of the young people involved in the committee, and the climate staff and youth services staff who support their activities.
