Uniting Youth Creative Arts Workshops & Family/Youth Worship Service

Calling all Canberra region young people to join with us in 3 amazing creative workshops facilitated by professionals & showcase these in an evening creative family/youth service:

1) Music - Be part of a Worship Band! - with singer songwriter and Uniting Creative Lead - Tash Holmes  - 1.30-3.00pm

Explore together why we worship God with music, what playing/singing in a band is like and learn 3 contemporary songs you can be part of leading in tonight's contemporary youth and family service and then take them back to your own church!

2) Drama - Act in a short Play! - with Musical Theatre Performer/Film and Television Actress/Teacher - Jessica Marchant 3.30-5pm

Explore and learn about the art of acting and drama and how it has been used to tell stories for centuries. Then learn a short skit you will be able to perform at tonight's contemporary youth and family service.

3) Visual Art - Visual arts in Worship - with Uniting Creative Leader 3.30-5pm

Explore what God is like using your imagination, paints pens and other craft items. Create a communal piece or work on your own individual one and showcase your work in this evening's contemporary youth and family service!

*A light afternoon tea and a small snack will be provided at

3pm & 5pm. BYO water bottle and other food.

4) The Service will start at 5.30pm (come at 5pm for a Welcome Snack! )

In conclusion there will be Pizza for all to share! :🥳
