Youth Crew - February- Photographing Campbelltown
Event description
Welcome to the Youth Crew!
You are joining a program of activities which will give you a unique view of how volunteers operate in our community, as well as having lots of fun in the process!
Many of our activities will focus on helping our local wildlife, plants and environment for the future of Campbelltown. Some of the activities will focus on what volunteering looks like in Campbelltown - you will be able to participate in events from behind the scenes, and to see what volunteers do in different roles.
Some of the planned activities may change, we will keep you updated:
February: Photographing Campbelltown
Friday 21 February, Local History Room in Campbelltown Library
Learn how to take a good photo with your camera/phone with professional advice. Take photos of an historic building or structure and donate them to the Campbelltown Local History Collection. Capture aspects of Campbelltown as it looks today for viewing by future generations. Choose your best photo and enter the Campbelltown Public Library 2025 Capture the Moment Photo Competition.
Send your photos of important local sites through to the Local History Officer by Drop Box. We need your photos to help document our local landmarks as they are today for future generations.
Bring your own camera or phone to the session.
This will also be a meet up to see who’s who in the Youth Crew and what to expect from the group. You’ll also meet the volunteers aged 16 and over working in the Youth Crew.
