Youth Homelessness Matters Day 2024
Event description
28,000 Children and Young People experience homelessness on any given night in Australia. In Port Macquarie- Kempsey region, 300 Children and Young People do not have a home to go to at night. We don’t see this as they are couch surfing, sleeping in cars, in refuges or temporary accommodation. The main cause of Child and Youth Homelessness in our region is family breakdown and domestic violence.
