Youth Improv Classes(Ages 9-12) - 6 Week Session

Learn the joy of improv in a fun and supportive space. All our exercises are tailored to support the theory of improv, YES, And! Your choice is right, and as a group we will support it. Using silly games you will learn how to listen to others with empathy, use your imagination, and find joy in yourself and others.

Each class will have about a 10 minute break. We recommend bringing a water bottle. Students are welcome to bring snacks as well. We will send a list of allergies to all the families if it is applicable.

The last day of class will end with an optional show for parents to come and watch. The teacher will email with the times.

Over the the the 6 week session we will cover the following skills:

Week 1: Intro To Improv

Week 2: Yes, And

Week 3: Listening and Reacting

Week 4: Intro To Space

Week 5: Characters

Week 6: Review and Show

Dates: Saturdays, 10:30am-12:00pm, January 11-February 15
