Youth-Led Sewing Circle
Description
Join us for a relaxed, drop-in youth-led creative space, where anyone can sit, sew and make together!
Participants are welcome to upcycle a garment from the Coal Loader Clothes Swap (running at the same time) or bring along any sewing or textile project they’d like to work on.
Young, fashion-savvy guides will be on hand to offer support, ideas and encouragement in a non-judgemental, community setting.
Slogue is a circular fashion education initiative using creativity, sewing and upcycling to empower young people and communities to create, not consume.
All ages welcome.
