Course Overview

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you the skills to respond to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, and substance use. You will learn how to:

Identify the signs and symptoms of mental health issues.
Offer initial support and guide young people to professional help.
Assist in mental health crises, including situations of self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

Teachers, coaches, parents, and anyone who works with young people.
Anyone who wants to learn how to support youth mental health.

Course Details

Duration: 2 days - Friday 9 May and Friday 16 May (9am-5pm both days) - participants are required to attend both days.
Format: Face-to-face
Cost: $350 early bird ticket (available until 7 April, 2025). $400 general ticket (registration closes 30 April, 2025). If you are booking for a group of 4 or more, please reach out for special pricing.
