Are you ready to help young people in need? As a Youth Mental Health First Aider, you'll learn how to provide initial support to young people experiencing mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and crisis situations.

Course Overview
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you the skills to respond to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, and substance use. You will learn how to:
- Identify the signs and symptoms of mental health issues.
- Offer initial support and guide young people to professional help.
- Assist in mental health crises, including situations of self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

- Teachers, coaches, parents, and anyone who works with young people.
- Anyone who wants to learn how to support youth mental health.
Course Details
- Duration: 2 days - Friday 9 May and Friday 16 May (9am-5pm both days) - participants are required to attend both days.
- Format: Face-to-face
- Cost: $350 early bird ticket (available until 7 April, 2025). $400 general ticket (registration closes 30 April, 2025). If you are booking for a group of 4 or more, please reach out for special pricing.
- Location: Quest Singleton - Civic Room
