Event description

Take this opportunity to learn and become certified in supporting young people around their mental health needs and wellbeing.

In this 2-day Youth Mental Health First Aid course, you will learn how to provide initial support to a young person (aged 12–18) who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is available or the crisis resolves.

Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health challenges in adolescents, how to recognise and respond to an emerging or worsening mental health challenge, and the treatments and supports available to young people in your area and online.

Spots limited! Registration required. Attendance on both days is required for course qualification.

This 2-day course is suitable for people over 18, community members and service workers.
