ABOUT 30X30 GOAL - YOUTH OCEAN WORKSHOP

Our Carnival Workshop arrives at a critical time for environmental focus. Recently, over 190 international governments have committed to the United Nations 30x30 Goal. This pledge requires participating governments, including Australia, to protect 30% of their land, freshwater, and marine environments by 2030. This is known worldwide as 30x30. We've established a framework based on Four Pillars to align with these global commitments. These "Actions for Nature" Pillars will champion youth-led conservation and are grounded in the 30x30 Goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

OUR GLOBAL EVENT PARTNER - WORLD OCEAN DAY

World Ocean Day is our Global Event Partner, bringing a network of more than 10,000 member organisations from 140 different countries and over 15,000 annual events and activities. Together, we unite to accelerate youth-led ocean conservation. This event will connect, inspire, and empower millions of Gen Z youth globally to protect the natural beauty of our blue planet for generations to come.
