Wear It Purple Youth Open Mic Night

Join headspace Batemans Bay and Queerobodalla for a fun, free night of creativity, connection and celebration as we mark Wear It Purple Day and show our support for LGBTQIA+ young people. This night is all about celebrating local young talent. Whether you're a seasoned performer who's comfortable in the spotlight or stepping onto a stage for the very first time, everyone is welcome. Share your creativity, build confidence, and support the amazing talent in our community.

💜 FREE event for young people aged 12–25

What's Happening?

• Youth Open Mic featuring music, poetry, spoken word and dance

• Free pizza, snacks and drinks

• Chill spaces to hang out and connect

• Celebrate Wear It Purple Day and show your support for the LGBTQIA+ community

• Dress in purple for your chance to win a Best Dressed Prize

Show off your talents in a supportive, youth-friendly space. From acoustic sets and original songs to poetry, spoken word and dance - all performance styles are welcome!

Every attendee gets one vote, and the performer with the most votes will score a paid performance slot at headspace's upcoming Trick or Beats event in October.
