Youth Podcast Workshop with Studio Ark

2 day School Holiday workshop for 12-24 year old LGBTQIA+ youth and allies, make a podcast and learn how to make them on your own with what you have!

Join YAAS! and our friends from Studio Ark for a two day super fun workshop where you will make a podcast, learn all things podcasting as well as take home all the skills you need to make them alone with the resources you have at home! 

We will spend two days together planning and producing 3 podcast episodes where LGBTQIA+ Young People have conversations with Queer Elders and get their stories out there.

Whether you're interested in the producing, performing, interviewing, recording, editing or promotional side of content creation, this workshop has something for everyone!

DAY ONE - Tuesday 18 April, 9am-3:30pm - Podcasting basics, planning our episodes

DAY TWO - Wednesday 19 April, 9am-3:30pm - Production day, editing the episodes

This workshop is for 12-24 year old LGBTQIA+, First Nations & youth living with disability as well as their mates and allies. 

Lunch and snacks provided.

FREE but must be registered to attend.

We are a LGBTIQ Safe space and there is zero tolerance for anything less than acceptance of all people.
