Ready to land your first job but not sure where to start?
Join us for Ready, Set, Apply!, a fun and practical workshop designed to help young people aged 13–16 create their very first resume!
In this interactive session, you’ll:
Discover your strengths and transferable skills
Build a professional resume step-by-step (using our easy templates)
Learn how to talk about your experience from school, home or sports with confidence
Leave with a completed resume ready to use for job applications!
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to apply for their first casual or part-time role at places like Woolies, Macca’s, local cafés and restaurants.

When: Wednesday 19th November, 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Where: The Hub, 1007 Botany Rd Mascot
Cost: Free, BYO laptop (laptops available on request)
Who: Young people aged 13–15
Extras: Snacks provided

Will there be toilet facilities available? Yes, there are toilets available including an accessible bathroom.
Is the location accessible? Yes, there is a ramp at the main entrance of the location.
Is there parking available nearby? There is plenty of on-street parking available on Coward and Rawson Streets. There is also parking available out the front on Botany Road until 3pm Monday to Friday.
How can I get to you using public transport? The following buses stop within a short walking distance from the hub (10 minutes or less): 350, 420, 358, 303, 307, 343. Mascot is the closest train station to SECC: This station is on the T8 and T3 lines. It is about a 15-minute walk to the Hub from there.
