Youth Flourishing in North Auckland - Innovation Showcase
Event description
Join us at Orewa Arts Centre for an inspiring evening as we support youth mental wellbeing in North Auckland. Ember Innovations, in partnership with Paihere Trust and Managed Moves, is delighted to invite you to our first community showcase event as part of the 'Youth Flourishing in North Auckland'Â innovation challenge.
Support the building of better wellbeing solutions for our young people and stay for incredible drinks sponsored by AF Drinks and a delicious mental-health inspired Canape Menu catered by "The Mental Health Chef" Jamie Robert Johnson from Droplet Events.
Hosted by the wonderful Comedian, Clarissa Chandrahasen (Bio Below), we will be laughing out loud as we solve some big issues, and hear from individuals and teams who are developing innovative solutions focused on:
  * Prevention and early intervention: Supporting young people to stay well, and supporting young people who are beginning to experience challenges with their mental healthÂ
  * Supporting the Supporters: Supporting the people who young people turn to when they are having a hard time so they can provide effective support to those young people and stay well themselves whilst doing so
  * Joining Things Up: removing the gaps through which young people fall. Making sure all young people are supported in a way that is meaningful to them, and when they need itÂ
The innovators are ready to share what they're working on, what they are seeking to achieve, and what support we can provide to help them get there.Â
We invite politicians, investors, cross-sector supporters, community members, and anyone interested in the wellbeing of our rangatahi and young people to come, learn, and see what opportunities there might be for you to get involved and support the teams.
This event is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering process that aims to make a significant positive impact on youth mental wellbeing.
Get ready for an evening of networking , shared knowledge, and the power of community collaboration.
Get your tickets here, and if you’d like to share what other skills and resources you can bring to support this project, please register your interest today at www.innovatingwellbeing.solutions
