Youth in Politics Camp 2021
Event description
Welcome to Youth in Politics Camp 2021!
This camp is a fantastic opportunity for young people from across northeast Victoria to connect with each other and engage with real issues affecting their lives. The main aims of the camp include:
- Ensuring that young people have tangible opportunities to engage with our local politics leaders on state and federal levels.
- Engaging our young people in leadership activities, supported by youth-specific practitioners, giving them skills to become leaders in their communities.
- Providing networking opportunities with organisations that provide services for young people
- Supporting young people to develop the skills to decide their futures.
Once you have registered, you will be emailed a permission form that must be filled out if you want to attend the camp.
There are a maximum of 27 places available for young people across northeast Victoria. If the General Admission tickets are full, applicants are invited to select a Waitlist ticket, where it will be decided on a first come, first served basis only if a place becomes available.
Transport to and from the camp will be made available if and as required.
