Come and experience the talent, energy and excitement of the Young Singers in Harmony New Zealand (YSIHNZ) Quartet Competition 2026.
Watch young singers from across New Zealand take to the stage in quartets, bringing together four-part harmony, musicianship, creativity and plenty of personality. Each quartet has its own unique sound and style, making for an entertaining and inspiring day of live barbershop singing.
Whether you're a barbershop enthusiast, a supporter of young performers, a family member, or simply love great harmony, this is a fantastic opportunity to see and hear some of New Zealand's emerging vocal talent.

A few things to know:
There will be multiple performance sessions throughout the day, and ticket holders are welcome to stay and enjoy as much of the competition as they wish.
Seating is very limited due to the high number of performer, so while you are welcome to stay for the day, a seat is not guaranteed. At busy times, you may need to stand or wait for a seat to become available. Thank you for your understanding as we do our best to accommodate everyone.
Please note: The Awards Presentation is not included with this ticket. Seating for the Awards Presentation is allocated to performers, so audience seating may not be available.
The Order of Appearance will be published on the YSIHNZ website during the week prior to the competition. www.ysihnz.com

Cancellation Policy
Tickets may be cancelled up to 2 days prior to the event. Cancellations received less than 2 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

FAQs
- Do I have to be there for the whole day?
No- you can come for the whole day or maybe one session. However, doors to auditorium close during each performance and will not be opened until they are finished... so don't come late.
- Can I film the performance?
No- no filming of any kind can be done during the performance. With young performers and copyright, we do not allow this. However, we will release video footage of the performerances on our you tube channel.
- Is the venue accessible?
Yes- this venue is accessible to single floor seating available.
- Can I bring in my snacks?
While you are welcome to bring some snacks to the day, you are not allowed to consume food or drinks in the auditorium. There are breaks during the day and you are welcome to eat outside the auditorium.
- Are my seats reserved?
No- If you want to sit in a large group we suggest you come early. Seating is not reserved, and priority is given to our performers.
