Event description
We stand at Winter Solstice at the time of the Great Pause. It is the moment of the longest dark, the end of that period, but not yet growing into light. The Earth leans furthest away from the Sun, waiting to turn.
Yule - we can experience true stillness, we stand at a transition gateway, the pause between one life and another; a time to consider what choices we will have to make before re-birth when the light comes.
We have been offered the use of a space in Eltham for our Sabbath Ritual! A delightful mud brick home with bush garden, meandering path, fire pit and dipping pool.
Nearby is a large labyrinth where we will commence the event, settling us into earth connection and peacefulness. Then we’ll move into the the house nearby.
This will be an afternoon, rather than evening event. This means a drive home in early evening, rather than late at night.
