A celebration of the gifts born in the darkness.

This SCI-MAA Level 01 Ritual is a guided moving meditation exploring the alchemy of awareness, gently shifting from the activity of the mind into the intelligence of the body.

Rooted in the stillness of winter, this practice invites you to notice the quiet rhythms within, and the subtle moment where something begins to stir. Through slow, intentional movement and soft vocal expression, we explore the transition from rest into emergence; the first spark of spring as it lives within the body.

Drawing on practices including SCI-MAA Sacred Linguistic Dance, this workshop offers a grounded and accessible space to reconnect with sensation, presence, and the natural cycles we move through, inside and outside.

If any part of you is craving:

• To land back in your body between the busyness and fullness of our lives schedules

• A gentle, guided experience (not a dance class or performance)

• A space where you can move, rest, and express without needing to “do it right”

• Connection, play, and nervous-system ease held simply and safely

You do not need:

• Dance experience

• Rhythm

We will gather at the moment before the longest night of the year and celebrate the symbolic rebirth of the sun, as the days begin to lengthen

Snacks will be provided with time to connect after the ceremony. Please bring one piece of whole fruit to share in the abundance of this ritual.

What is SCI MAA?

Each movement weaves together themes and dance Blocks, creating a profound language, a universal language that speaks directly to the soul.
