Join us for a session with Canberra Alliance for Harm Minimisation & Advocacy (CAHMA) and Canberra Health Services (CHA) focused on the decriminalisation of cannabis and small quantities of common drugs in the ACT. This event is aimed to equip youth workers and practitioners with practical knowledge, resources, and the opportunity to discuss the real-world implications of these changes.

What to Expect:

Understanding the Law: Learn how the decriminalisation of cannabis and small quantities of common drugs is being implemented in the ACT and what this means for your work.
Practical Implications: Explore how these legislative changes play out in practice, especially for front-line workers supporting young people.
Access to Resources: Receive posters and brochures detailing the small quantities legislation, with opportunities to request quantities for your service.
Data and Service Insights: Hear from CHS about their data or services related to this legislative change.
Q&A and Open Discussion: Bring your questions and participate in a free-form discussion to share challenges, insights, and strategies.
