Event description

Never Impossible Single Launch at Brisbane’s intimate, well loved gem It’s Still A Secret (ISAS) situated in the heart of South Brisbane. To celebrate the launch of the Zeke Foster single “Never Impossible” ISAS will host a beautiful and diverse night of songwriters featuring Blade Hooper, Jess Irvine and Zeke Foster on Sunday the 9th of April, 2023.

These three songwriters all have a common thread, they wear their hearts on their sleeves and bring forth a sense of vulnerability to their craft that will be sure to take your breath away.

Doors will open at 6pm with the talented Blade Hooper opening the evening at 6:30pm. A Perth born Singer/Songwriter & Guitarist, Blade combines Mayeresque music sensibilities with his love for 90’s alt rock, Folk-Pop and Soul. With an incoming stream of releases including I Know (Let It Go) releasing Friday 17th of March and his debut EP, Blade is already making 2023 a prolific year for his music and is currently performing shows solo and with his backing band The Algorithms. Whether it’s intimate acoustic shows, high-octane band sets or spontaneous live performances with Post Malone, Blade Hooper is covering ground with brave and vulnerable performances full of risk.

Jess Irvine, the heart over head folk-pop songstress will be gracing the stage at 7:30pm. Bringing forth her unique and beautiful artistry described as “mantra music for the modern day dreamer.” Following up from her beautiful single “New Moon” released in June 2022, Jess Irvine has greeted 2023 with a gorgeous release “Wild, Wild Me” produced by Nashville based Ben Kling.

To close out the night, Brisbane based songwriter, producer and artist Zeke Foster will be playing a very special, intimate set to celebrate the release of his upcoming single “Never Impossible.” With his mature lyricism, Zeke Foster brings a sense of confidence and bravery to exploring the depths of love, loss, heartbreak and ultimately the human desire to be seen and heard. Using his experienced craftsmanship, Zeke endeavors to bring audiences into a world where the things we are so afraid to say or admit are brought into a space of vulnerability and empathy.

Tickets for this special evening are $20 or $25 on the door.
