Event description

zemzemeh

Siyavash Doostkhah & Greta Kelly explore Sufi poetry and mystical music of Iran through acoustic traditions infused with concepts of love and harmony. Siyavash plays tanbur, an ancient, three-stringed instrument. Conversely, Greta’s shah kaman is one of the most modern Persian instruments.

Zemzemeh augments these acoustic instruments with analogue and digital synthesisers, theremini (a digital theremin), violin, bass infused beats, looping and multi-effects to give a new interpretation of the ancient poetry.

Greta & Siyavash have generously offered to support Uki Refugee Project by donating their time to perform in this exciting concert.

NOTE. You do not need to print tickets, we will have a list of your names.
