Zen and Modern Life
Event description
with Dan Zigmond
Every 1st Tuesday of the month, 7 - 8:30 pm
Curious about Zen Buddhism? Join us for an evening of Zen, the ancient Buddhist meditation tradition that traces its roots to early China and flourished in medieval Japan; a tradition that can help you lead a healthier, more meaningful, and more balanced life. Led by long-time Zen teacher Dan Zigmond, each session will start with a brief talk on topics related to Zen and modern life, and explore what it means to be fully present. Next will be a guided meditation followed by a silent meditation. To conclude, Dan will answer questions and offer time for discussion.
Join us in person at 2929 24th street
