Zen Sundays: Chinese Tea & Sound Bowls

At Cultivate Taste Tea Salon we wanted to do a Zen Sunday event for a while. Sundays are for relaxing and recharging your batteries for the up coming week. This is why we wanted to do a Zen Sunday series. Music can be relaxing and healthy for you. I asked Melissa Proski
too be a part of this event. She will be playing her sound bowls.
Melissa works in the realm of healing. For the past 35 years she has had many jobs/careers and eventually faced total emotional burnout. In 2018 she discovered Peter Hess sound massage and made the life changing decision to take the certified practitioner training in 2019. Following that she also completed a certified training with Kyle Gray to provide crystal therapy and enrolled in Oracle School in 2021 with Colette Baron-Reid to offer Oracle Card readings. She has been pursuing her passion to help people in their healing journeys full time since retiring from teaching in 2021. She is the owner of Soul Sounds.
You will also get a trio of Chinese green teas that are central to Zen Buddhism. There are Zen temples and monasteries throughout China, Korea, Vietnam, and Japan with green tea being very important to this way of life and extremely rare for a monastery or temple to not have a ceremonial tearoom. These teas will also help you relax and calm your mind. Green tea has been an integral part of Zen Buddhism for over a 1000 years.
The owner of Cultivate Taste Tea is Wisconsin's only certified tea specialist who won international awards for her tea and represented the USA tea industry in two world tea conferences in China.
