About the Level One Training

The Level One training is a foundational course in understanding the principles, sequences, and philosophies woven through Zenthai Shiatsu.

This four-day embodied experience is the pre-requisite for the nine-month Zenthai Shiatsu Therapist Training; it’s also a transformative experience on its own.

Through guided demonstrations, hands-on practice, and playful, embodied movement, discover techniques, confidence and capacity to offer a considered, fluid and integrative full-body sequence to friends, family, or clients.

Who is it for?

This training is open to all. Past students have been a mix of many backgrounds, experiences and intentions.

The level one training is ideal for:

Beginners to bodywork, desiring to learn more about touch and the potency of intentional, therapeutic touch.
Yoga teachers, movement facilitators, and therapists of other modalities looking to expand their bodywork toolkit and understanding.
Facilitators who wish to uncover more pathways for deeper presence and trust with their clients.
Anyone feeling the call to explore touch as medicine; whether for personal growth or professional development.
Anyone drawn to be part of an engaged, welcoming, heart-centred community.

What we’ll engage with

A 90-minute full-body Zenthai Shiatsu sequence to share with friends, family, or clients.
A foundational experience of therapeutic touch
An introduction to key elements of Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Comprehensive learning materials including a bodywork manual and video tutorials.
The experience and support of heartfelt community during — and likely beyond — this four-day course.
