The Zenthai Shiatsu Wood Element workshop will be your seasonal time to flow and weave your body through some yoga, bodywork, and enlivening play to activate the energy of spring within us. Drawing on the philosophy and insights from Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will explore how the wood element supports our capacity to grow, adapt, and express our true direction.

I welcome all levels of people into the space, whether they have years of touch under their belt or fresh saplings that are eager to build their touch. This is designed for all and has tools for everyone to take home. Let this be your step into the world of Zenthai Shiatsu or a point of reconnection with the community. Either way, it would be wonderful to have you.

We will start the workshop with some yoga asana, primal movement and Qi Gong based practices which will bring in the principles of the bodywork that we’ll be moving into that day. Then shifting into some connecting to the philosophy of the wood element and its connection to ours lives & body. Following that background will we then find ourselves hands on with a body to find some nourishing gestures (moves) to apply on our friends. Throughout the workshop, we’ll weave in games, drop-ins, and shared stories to bring the energy of growth and play alive.
