Zero Waste Cooking Demonstration
Event description
Cut Your Carbon ‘Foodprint’
Did you know that around one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions are linked to food production? The great news is you can lower your carbon footprint, save money, and reduce food waste by making sustainable food choices in the kitchen.
Join vegan chef Ayse Moonen (@veganprojects) for a hands-on zero waste cooking workshop demonstration where you'll learn to make Vegan Cheese, Pesto Sauce, and Polpette Di Pane using ingredients that are often thrown away. Taste everything we make and discover how sustainable cooking can help fight climate change—one delicious meal at a time!
This event will be held in the communal kitchen of The Regiment Building Student Accommodation (H60)Â and is open to all current University Staff and Students.
