Zero Waste Festival 2021
Event description
POSTPONED
The Zero Waste Festival has been postponed – We didn’t want to, but hey we’re in the middle of a pandemic here.
We plan to announce the new date soon. But for now, we’re waiting and following Government advice to minimise risks, and to avoid the need to reschedule again.
This year’s Zero Waste festival’s aim is to reconnect community and provide festival goers with inspiration to rethink waste, as we bounce back from the pandemic. There will be an opportunity to bring things in need of mending and actively participate in the war against waste. Unfortunately transferring this online would just not be the same, and we think waiting a month or so, will be worth it.
But hold this space and keep the date of June 12th @10am available, as we’re planning something special for you – online. Zero Waste Victoria with @uchangeU will hold a mindfulness session to help you maintain your calm and eco-warrior zen, as we face the stressors, anxiety and all the rubbish that the pandemic has thrown our way.
More will be released very soon. All current festival ticket holders will be notified, and have the first opportunity to book in once the new date is announced. And we’ll let you know on socials too.
