Description

Love sourdough but unsure what to do with discard, stale loaves or leftover bread? This practical workshop explores simple, creative ways to reduce waste while making the most of every part of your sourdough.

We’ll look at everyday uses for sourdough discard, ideas for transforming stale or tired loaves, and practical techniques for extending the life of homemade or store-bought sourdough. The focus is on achievable, home-based approaches that help reduce food waste while adding flavour and versatility to your kitchen.

Whether you bake your own sourdough or simply enjoy buying it fresh, this session will provide useful ideas to help you use what you have more creatively and confidently.

This free workshop is part of the Living Lightly series and is delivered by Bass Coast Adult Learning in partnership with Bass Coast Shire Council.

Registration is essential so we can keep in contact if there are any changes and ensure adequate materials for all participants.
