Held at the stunning Hive building in Orange, doors will open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

  • Dr Jo Braid, The Burnout Recovery Dr
Jo is a medical doctor, coach and burnout recover expert who is passionate about helping health professionals safeguard against burnout. Jo has led a rich and high paced career in the health sector, doing everything from emergency medicine in one of the nation's busiest hospitals to helping patients with brain injuries through rehabilitation and recovery. Jo draws on her experiences to deliver impactful group and one-on-one coaching, workshops, her podcast The Burnout Recovery Podcast, and most recently has launched an online program making burnout prevention accessible for everyone.

  • Danica Bunch, Crisis Communication Specialist and Author
Danica has over 20 years experience in crisis communication and works locally, nationally and internationally supporting corporate agencies and businesses with their profile and messaging. Only days before Christmas in 2022, Danica was diagnosed with breast cancer, and after recovering from the initial shock, realised she was relying on strategies she'd used in her professional life for years as she navigated the new world of treatment, jargon and juggling normal life with the new mental load. Danica has written her first book, She Has Breast Cancer sharing strategies that work when you find yourself in the middle of a personal crisis.

  • Mel Watson, Founder of The Zest Collective
Mel has enjoyed a long career in people and culture strategy at senior levels, traversing both the public and private sectors and knows how challenging it is to juggle career, team, family and life in general. In 2022 after successfully recovering from her own burnout experience, Mel noticed an alarming rate of burnout in the highly capable women around her in and outside of work. While Mel was on sabbatical she decided to find a way to help women prioritise their wellbeing, resigning from her public service role to focus on that goal in the same year.
