Zikra- Music from the Arab World

An afternoon of music from the Arab world with Zikra.

Zikra (meaning "recollection" or "memory" in Arabic) is a dynamic four-piece ensemble paying homage to nostalgic Middle-Eastern songs of love and loss. They draw inspiration from classical Andalusian music, Arabic and Persian pop, as well as jazz music.
Zikra serenade and connect with their audiences through rich musical compositions that transcend language barriers. Band members include vocalist Gabriela Georges, guitarist Tony Pain, keyboardist Ariel Valent, and bassist Ben Harmsen.
