Youth Zine Drop-in Series in Fremantle
Event description
Got something to say? Say it in a zine!
Zines are small, DIY publications where you can express anything – stories, art, opinions, or whatever’s on your mind.
The City of Fremantle has partnered with Centre for Stories to deliver drop-in zine-making workshops for young people aged 11-17 at the Fremantle Old Visitor Centre. Led by zine expert Sophie Minissale, you’ll gain hands-on skills to create authentic, fun zines while exploring your creativity.
The best part? You’ll have the option to showcase your zine at Fremantle Library, giving you the chance to see your work displayed for the whole community to enjoy.
No experience necessary – just bring your ideas and we’ll provide materials plus snacks. Come when you can, create what you want, and be part of Freo’s creative community. No need to sign up!
