Event description

Learn about the wonderful world of zines - or DIY magazines - and then get stuck into creating your own! There aren’t many rules and there are many wonderful possibilities.

Artist and educator Grace Mitchell will take you through a brief introduction to zines, then lead you through some activities to get your creative juices flowing to make your own. At the end of the session, you can keep your zines to yourself, or photocopy them to make multiples for distributing. All art materials will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own pictures or magazines if you wish.
