Does wine and crafts with friends sound like the perfect Monday night? Join us for a Zine Poetry Workshop on Monday, April 29th from 6:30pm-9:30pm and make that dream a reality. Zines, short for magazines or fanzines, are whatever you want them to be - 8 pages of Florida lizard collages, cat poetry, illustrations, anything you want to create.
We'll have scissors, glue, paper, magazines, newspapers, black pens, and a poetry ARC for you to use, but you're welcome (and encouraged!) to bring any extra materials you have! There will be prompts to help get your creative juices flowing and time to share your zines at the end of the night. We can't wait to craft with you!
What to Expect:
- First 30 minutes: Zine 101 Workshop with India
- 2 hours of crafting, socializing, snacking, and drinking!
- Last 30 minutes: Time to share what you've made!
- Materials Provided: Scissors, glue sticks, magazines, newspapers, paper, black pens, crayons, colored pencils, and markers
- Zine prompts to help you get your creative juices flowing
- Raffle to win a poetry ARC - every drink purchase is an entry!
