Zine Workshop & Kōrero with Cheeky & Poker (16+)

Join us and award winning zine makers, Cheeky & Poker, for a artist talk and zine workshop! Cheeky & Poker will be sharing insights of their journey through zine making, and their experiences as zine makers and artists. This is a special opportunity to not only learn the skill of making zines, but gain knowledge from people who participate in zine festivals around Aotearoa! Cheeky & Poker have won awards for their zines across Aotearoa, in the Auckland, Ōtautahi and Wellington Zinefests, for best info zine, best design zine and best mini zine. We are so excited to be able to host them in this capacity, this event is free, best suited for 16+ with all resources provided!

Zines are also a part of our collection at Auckland Libraries, so any zines created at this workshop, or copies of them, can be donated to the library. All zines are accepted as donations and are displayed at Central City Library!

This event is ideally for people over 16 years. If you are attending with tamariki under 16 they must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
