Zoe Knighton & Amir Farid

Amir Farid is a New York-based Iranian-Australian solo pianist, associate artist and chamber musician. He has performed solo concerts which have been embraced warmly by the audience, as well as performing as part of the Benaud Trio. 

Zoe is a founding member of the Flinders Quartet and as played numerous concertos with Melbourne Orchestras. She is now also in demand as a chamber music coach and teacher at various institutions. She is also a regular panellist for major competitions.

Zoe and Amir made an impressive debut at the Melbourne Recital Centre to great critical acclaim in 2009. Their partnership has resulted in recordings for ABC, concerts throughout Australia and the release of five CDs on the MOVE label. Wesley has welcomed each of this dynamic duo over the years and we have enjoyed their performances as part of other ensembles many times. Now we can enjoy hearing them play together.
