The Zonta Club of Bunbury is proud to be hosting its 30th International Women's Day event in Bunbury.
Join Zonta Bunbury members to enjoy breakfast with friends, celebrate International Women's Day and be inspired by our guest speaker Flight Lieutenant Sue Freeman.
Guest Speaker Short Bio
Sue joined the RAF in 1991 and after graduating fast-jet pilot training went on to fly the Tornado F3 fighter on the frontline and instruct on the Conversion Unit. She has taken part in several multi-national exercises world-wide, patrolled the Iraq no-fly zone 1999-2002 and conducted live intercepts of aircraft during Quick Reaction Alert duties in defence of UK and Falkland Islands airspace. Joined the RAAF in 2016 based at RAAF Base Pearce on 79 Squadron for the last 7 years flying and instructing on the Hawk 127 teaching junior pilots how to fly a fast-jet, operating the aircraft as part of a team and manoeuvring the aircraft close to its limits. Recently, posted to 2FTS in an executive role which still includes flying and instructing but on something a little slower, the Pilatus PC21.
When not at work, Sue enjoys playing gardening, beach-fishing, camping and keeping up with 18-year-old son, William. Finished an MBA in 2018 and in 2019 built a house in Connolly and is now thinking about her next project.

TIME: 9.00 am for 9.30 am start
COST: $45 pp (+$2.79 booking fee) - Strictly Tables of 10.
Individual bookings are welcome.
Ticket sales close on the Monday 4th March 2024.
NOTE: If you're with a group and tickets are purchased separately, please indicate the group’s name or name the group’s organising person you wish to sit with.
Funds raised will go towards Zonta Bunbury Service and Advocacy Projects.
